Do you do same day services?

Yes, we do.

Do I have to pay a deposit to book a service?

We take 30% of the agreed quote upfront for your protection and peace of mind. Once it’s been received your booking is confirmed. The remainder (70%) is payable on the day once the work has been carried out.

How can I pay?

Bank transfer, Paypal, Cash, Credit and Debit cards payment over the phone.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, there aren’t. Our quotes are fixed and final.

What if I have to cancel my booking?

Please contact us immediately.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes, you will.

Can I expect a discount when booking two or more services?

Yes, you can. The more services you book the bigger the discount.

How long is the quote valid for?

14 days.

Why I can't see prices on your website?

There’s a number of factors affecting your quote, hence it’s difficult to cover everything. Please give us a call for an estimate. As for removals, in most cases we insist on a survey to provide the accurate quotation.

What quality of service can I expect from you?

Please check our feedback on Checkatrade. Once the work has been carried out we’ll give you a feedback card as well and whatever you put in there will be visible to our future customers.

Is the team fully trained, qualified and CRB checked?

Yes. Every member of our team is fully trained, qualified and CRB checked.

Do I need to be there when the service is taking place?

For your convenience you don’t have to be there and we can collect the keys to the property (where appropriate) from your neighbours, relatives or Estate Agents.

Do I have to arrange parking?

If parking is difficult outside your property or there are restrictions, you will need to contact your local council and organise parking. We can advise how much room or time will be required. Any parking fines incurred will be added to your final bill and be paid by you.

Can you provide references from your previous customers?

What if I'm not satisfied with the service?

In this highly unlikely scenario please get in touch with us immediately (01793 335429, 07587 282771). If for some reason we can’t agree on the solution we’ll get local Government Authority involved since we’re a member of Buy with Confidence Scheme.

Removals
How is my quote calculated?

Your quote is based on your property size, distance to your new property, access to both properties.

Will my belongings be insured?

You’ll be covered by Public Liability Insurance (£1,000,000) and Goods in Transit Insurance (£10,000)

Do you provide UK only or overseas removals too?

We provide both.

How long does it take to move a house?

On average, it takes 4 – 8 hours depending on your property size and distance to your new property.

How much notice do you need for my move?

Please get in touch as soon as you know your moving date.

Is survey necessary?

No, it’s not but we strongly insist on it. Thanks to a survey we’re able to fully assess the amount of work and provide you with the best quote possible.

Can I take part in loading & unloading to lower the quote?

We don’t recommend such solution, however if you’re a hands-on person we’d love to offer you our ‘Van & Driver Hire’.

What access is required for your removal fleet?

Our attention should be drawn to any local hight, length and weight restrictions.

Will my carpet be protected during my house move?

Yes, it will be left exactly in the same condition we found it in.

Will you dismantle my furniture if necessary?

Unless this was agreed in the quote all items are expected to be ready to move before we arrive. If agreed in the quote, we’ll carry out the dismantling and reassembly as agreed. It is essential that you say what is required at the quotation stage to allow for the necessary time and equipment to be provided.

Can you disconnect my washing machine and cooker?

Unfortunately, it’s against the law to do it by the moving companies.

Will you empty my loft, basement, garage or shed in the garden?

Yes, we will but it’s essential that you say it’s required at the quotation stage.

How will my furniture be protected during the move?

What if I have to wait for keys to my new property?

Additional fee may apply.

Where will you leave my items at my new property?

Exactly where you specify.

What can I do to make sure everything goes smoothly?

Please make sure: 1) you’re fully packed; 2) your oven and white goods are disconnected, 3) all your audio-video equipment is disconnected, 4) there’s clear access to furniture since they’ll be loaded first, 5) you think through where you’d like to have your items left at your new property, 6) you clearly label the boxes.

Packing Service
How is my quote calculated?

Your quote is based on your property size and amount of your belongings.

Why would you recommend your Packing Service?

We’re using high quality packing materials. Also, thanks to our experience we can guarantee the whole process will be smooth and all items will be packed and delivered to your new property safely.

When will you do the packing?

The day before your move.

Are packing materials included in the quote?

Yes, they are.

Do you provide Unpacking Service?

Yes, we do.

Do you supply packing boxes and materials?

Yes, we do.

Why hiring crates is better than buying cardboard boxes?

Crates are far better in terms of durability so your goods are safer. You’re not left with plenty of
cardboard after your move. It’s faster to pack and unpack. Although, on some occasions cardboard boxes are recommended (ie. long distance move or your items go to storage).

How long will it take to pack my property?

On average, 6 – 8 hours.

Is there anything you won't pack?

We won’t pack contents of your fridge and bottles without seal (cap).

I'd like to pack myself. Is there anything I should keep in mind?

Please make sure: 1) you clearly label the boxes, 2) you don’t make them too heavy, 3) all boxes are sealed, 4) you clearly mark boxes with fragile items, 5) you use double wall boxes

What can I do to make sure everything goes smoothly?

Please make sure all your audio-video equipment is disconnected

Cleaning
How is my quote calculated?

Your quote is based on your property size, type of oven, type of fridge.

Do I have guarantee I'll get my rent deposit back?

Yes, you do.

Do you use sanitisation methods of cleaning?

Yes, we do. We use steam cleaning which removes 99% of bacteria and viruses.

Is carpet cleaning included in the quote for cleaning?

Vacuuming is included but deep carpet cleaning is a separate service. It’s essential that you say it’s required at the quotation stage.

Is oven, hob and extractor fan cleaning included in the quote?

Yes, it is.

Are white goods cleaning included in the quote?

Yes, they are.

Is window cleaning included in the quote?

Yes, it is from the inside. We’re cleaning from the outside only when it’s possible.

Do you clean walls?

Yes, we do but it’s a separate service so it’s essential that you say it’s required at the quotation stage.

Do you clean blinds and verticals?

We wipe them down where possible without dismantling for cleaning purpose.

Do you clean curtains?

No, we don’t.

How long do you need to clean my property?

Usually it takes 4 – 8 hours depending on the condition of your property.

Do I need to provide cleaning equipment and supplies?

No, you don’t. Everything will be provided by us.

Can I do a part of cleaning myself to lower the quote?

If you require your rent deposit back it’s essential we do the whole cleaning from scratch but if it’s not required and you’re a hands-on person, we’d like to offer our ‘Partial End of Tenancy Cleaning’ which covers kitchen and bathrooms only.

What if something gets broken when my house is cleaned?

Your property and your belongings are covered by Public Liability Insurance (£1,000,000).

What can I do to make sure everything goes smoothly?

Please make sure: 1) your fridge is defrosted, 2) there’s no rubbish left at the property, 3) there’s access to electricity and hot water.

Carpet Cleaning
How is my quote calculated?

Your quote is based on number and size of rooms with carpet

Do I have guarantee I'll get my rent deposit back?

Yes, you do.

Is stain removal included in the quote?

Yes, it is.

Can you guarantee all stains will be removed?

Almost all stains can be removed but on some ocassions damage in carpet structure or discolouration happens which are not possible to remove.

Do you provide after animal carpet cleaning?

Yes, we do but it’s a separate service so it’s essential that you say it’s required at the quotation stage.

Do you clean natural fibre carpet (jute, coir, seagrass, sisal)?

Yes, we do. It’s essential that you say it’s required at the quotation stage.

How long do I have to wait for the carpet to dry out?

On average 30 mins but that depends on the structure of your carpet. We use air movers (blowers) to speed up the process as much as possible.

Do you move furniture to clean carpet under the furniture?

Yes, we do where it’s possible.

What can I do to make sure everything goes smoothly?

Please make sure: 1) there are no loose items on the floor, 2) there’s access to water and electricity at the property.

Clearance
How is my quote calculated?

Your quote is based on volume, weight and access to items you’d like to dispose of.

Does the waste have to be bagged?

No, it doesn’t. We’ll do it for you.

What will happen to my waste once it's been collected?

We’ll take it to the nearest Household Recycling Centre.

Why quotes for clearance and rubbish disposal are so high?

As licensed Waste Carriers we have to pay disposal charges to get rid of your items.

How can you prove you disposed of the waste legally?

Once your waste has been collected we can issue Waste Transfer Note.

Are you fully insured and licensed?

Yes, we are. Our Waste Carriers Registration Number is CB/WM3742ZD/A001

Are there any items I have to tell you about?

Yes, there are: gas bottles, fridge, freezer, vehicle tyre.

Are there any items which you won't take?

Yes, there are: asbestos, biological or medical waste, helium or oxygen gas bottles, toxic substances.

Can you dismantle furniture during my clearance?

Yes, we can.

What can I do to make sure everything goes smoothly?

Please make sure:  1) you tell us if you have any gas bottles, fridge, freezer, vehicle tyre, 2) you tell us about any unusual / heavy / big items.
